Take a Walk in the Country 6: The Waterfront Bash
Take a Walk in the Country 6: The Waterfront Bash took place at the Aloha Tower Marketplace, which was done to take people back to the of the 'ol boat days when the big boats used to come into the Aloha Tower Marketplace and bring lots of visitors who were greeted by hula dancers and flower lei. But with the caliber of entertainment that was on stage like the Mākaha Sons and others, it could have been held anywhere and it would have been just as good.
We've needed to have answered the age old question of WHY The Chicken Crossed The Road. While I would have like to have taken credit for this one, I can't. Outrigger Canoe Racing is a sport in which an outrigger canoe is propelled by means of paddles. The outrigger canoeʻs history dates back to the early Polynesians who navigated without charts or instruments and explored the Pacific. Today there are canoe races held almost every weekend from May to September. It is the official sport of the State of Hawaiʻi.
In Hawaiʻi there are several organizations that are devoted to this well known sport in Hawaiʻi with numerous sporting and social clubs located around the world and here in our Hawaiʻi Nei.
