Kapena When one hears the name KAPENA these days, immediately a picture of three young men with musical instruments in arms comes to mind. They are the "Party Band" that so many people grew up with in the 1980's, 90's and 2000's. They've evolved from their original trio, to the family musical group that exists today. Kapena has come a long way in the hawaiian music business.

Makaha Sons For over 30 years, the Makaha Sons have committed themselves to perpetuating traditional Hawaiian music throughout Hawai‘i and the World. In 1976 the Makaha Sons of Ni‘ihau began its professional career with five members as an opening act in a small nightclub known as “Uptown Yokos.” Today they represent both the hawaiian music sides of yesterday and today..

Maunalua Maunalua is one of the groups who takes "Hawaiian Music" to a new level. They're music is mostly of the traditional hawaiian music genre, and take great pride in playing a mix of traditional hawaiian mixed with falsetto, slack key guitar and mixes it all together with a sound that only Maunalua can produce. It's why they are an award winning artists with wonderful releases to their credit.

Peter Moon Peter Moon is one of the most prolific musicians that was partly responsible for the "Hawaiian Renaissance" of hawaiian music and culture that happened in the 1970's. Peter is a master of the stringed instruments, as his guitar and ukulele playing have been one of the biggest influences in modern hawaiian music.
