Aloha from the Cooke Field on the University of Hawia'i Campus! I'm here pulling an all-nighter for the American Cancer Society and the University of Hawai'i. I've done this the last 3 years with Doug Hussey. They have gotten better at doing this year after year. This is the best I've seen at this site going from a gathering of people to a large event. This is an great event that has to do with finding the cure and raising money for cancer. Jayme and Rita, the Co-Chairs for the event were awesome. But there is so much more to it

Billy V. It's a Thursday afternoon, and I'm still here at the station. I just got back from Borthwick Mortuary where our radio station staff are setting up for a live broadcast of Aunty Genoa Keawe's services. There are so many people that are away from Hawai'i, or on neighbor islands that couldn't make it, so it's being broadcast on our sister station AM 940. |

Aloha! Happy Girls Day!
Hope you didn't forget about that! Boys Day is coming up on May 5. 3/3 girls, 5/5 boys. That's for those that don't know...lol You would be surprised how many people called up and asked "What is girls day? What day is it?".
We talked about how I was mad and embarrased this past Saturday. I was down by one of the hotels in Waikiki, when I saw 3 polysnesian women with nice plumeria lei, giving them to tourists. I thought what a nice touch by our hotels. Little did I know it was our "Aloha" for sale...
