Aloha Fridayʻs are wonderful, but theyʻre even better when you can include great music and food!!  This past Friday (May 9, 2008) we had the Aloha Friday Luncheon Show in the Shorebird Restaurant at the Outrigger Reef on the Beach Hotel.

Karen Keawehawaiʻi was next on stage, and she brought down the house, talking story and mixing it up with music and hula. The audience had a grand time, and Karen brought her daughter Tracie Lopes and her husband; Tracie is Miss Aloha Hula 1994, Tracy and her husband are Kumu Hula of their halau which is headed to the Merrie Monarch for the first time next year. They also brought 2 of their dancers with them and wowed the crowd.

Itʻs been a long time since weʻve seen Karen entertaining; sheʻs been so busy with her business called Looks Like Real Flowers. Sheʻs also been on television lately as she was interviewed on Sunrise on KGMB9 before heading off to the Spring New Products Show.
