Hilo Hatties who has been doing business for 45 years selling Aloha wear and spreading aloha fashions far beyond Hawaiiʻs shores has been sold. A principal of the new company also has experience doing business in the islands with another company. Jim Romig, who is the founder and chairman of Hilo Hatties said "I have the utmost confidence in TOC Inc's ability to successfully grow the company, Ted Nelson, a principal of TOC Inc., has over a decade of experience in doing business in Hawaii and currently owns the Hawaii region of Fantastic Sams hair salons."Nelson is a principal in the company that owns the 18 Fantastic Sams hair salons on the island of Oʻahu. Hilo Hatties is on Oʻahu, Maui, Kauaʻi and the Big Island. There are also stores in Southern California. Hilo Hatties is getting ready to open their new flagship store in Waikiki, in the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center. According to the press release, all retail stores and offices will continue to operate as usual. |
