Makaha Sons headed for Carnagie

Makaha Sons Makaha Sons are headed for New York City in May! They are bringing a star studded cast of hula dancers, musicians from Hawai'i, performers from Japan and of course Moon, John & Jerome; The Makaha Sons. The concert is slated for Carnagie Hall, 8:00pm May 31, 2008. Here is more information on the participants... "The Makaha Sons with Hawai'i Legends and Japan's Best" is the name of the concert, starring the Makaha Sons and featuring Nina Keali'iwahamana, Marlene Sai, Beverly Noa; Showcasing Kumu Hula Hokulani and Larry De Rego and the internationally acclaimed Halau Hula 'O Hokulani. Special appearances by the Danny Akaka Trio, Clarence Kiyoshi Hirakawa Ukulele Troupe, Kyoko Kubokawa and Hula Halau Ka Hula O Hawai'i and Falsetto Extrodinaire George Matsushita and Island King.
