ImageNEWS RELEASE:  HONOLULU – Hawaiian Airlines has established a special Web site page and toll-free telephone number for ticket holders affected by the impending closure of Aloha Airlines.A special link on the home page of Hawaiian's Web site at www.HawaiianAirlines.com provides Aloha ticket holders with updated information, answers to frequently asked questions, and flight schedules.

Aloha ticket holders can also call 1-877-892-8896 to hear a recorded informational message.
Hawaiian is accepting Aloha tickets for free Coach Class seating on a first-come, first-served standby basis under the following conditions.

On Monday, March 31, Aloha ticket holders for only Hawaii to U.S. Mainland travel can standby for flights on Hawaiian.

From Tuesday, April 1 through Thursday, April 3, Aloha ticket holders for all interisland and transpacific travel can standby for flights on Hawaiian for the ticketed day of departure only. The following requirements apply to standby travel:

• Standby will only be offered to Aloha ticket holders on and for the date noted on their Aloha ticket confirmation.
• An Aloha paper ticket or electronic ticket confirmation must be presented in person on the day of departure only.
• Passengers will be required to sign over rights to future refund or credit card chargeback.
• Standby will be one trip at a time; no round trip considerations.
• Holders of Aloha interisland tickets can standby for any of Hawaiian's interisland flights.
• Holders of Aloha transpacific tickets can standby for Hawaiian's flights at any of the western U.S. destinations served by Hawaiian.

Due to the expected high demand for seats, standby travelers are not assured of receiving a confirmed boarding that meets their desired travel schedule.

Hawaiian Adding 6,000-Plus Seats to Interisland Schedule

On Tuesday, April 1, Hawaiian is expanding its daily interisland flight schedule by more than 6,000 seats and staffing up airport personnel to alleviate the backlog of displaced ticket holders resulting from Aloha's closure.

Aloha ticket holders wanting to avoid unnecessary travel delays are advised to purchase a confirmed reservation with Hawaiian matching their planned itinerary. Tickets can be purchased online at www.HawaiianAirlines.com, or by calling Hawaiian's reservations department at 1-800-367-5320.
